The ATLs, or playspaces in the classrooms of students from Grades 6-12, are designed to encourage creativity and innovation. ATLs are designed to promote curiosity and encourage innovation among young students. To encourage experimentation and projects, schools equipped with ATLs use state-of the-art technology like 3D printing, robots, sensor kits and more.

- ATL students from Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya in Surajmal Vihar (Delhi) developed a robot model to help solve the manual problem of cleaning sewers.
- The ATL at Podar International School in Chhattisgarh inspired the design of automatic soap dispensers that were cost-effective and became popular during the COVID-19 epidemic.
